All conference rooms in our building are "closed" tomorrow and all meetings have been cancelled. Add that to our VP being at "management training."

Take solace in this -- HR cuts will happen after this is all said and done. Last time around ('09) they chopped half of HR after having them work on all of the layoffs/have all the layoff conversations.
Can anyone tell me if they know anything about more Converse layoffs? There have been random layoffs over the past year or so but no one knows what is the truth, so many rumors. Who knows what to believe, I would whole heartedly agree about the terrible management and senior leadership, that's not just at Nike. Converse has more directors than they know what to do with.

Anyone know if there is reshuffling/reorg, or just layoffs? In 09 a lot of people were moved to new roles (some debanded).
Well... I just got my meeting invite for tomorrow... Seriously couldn't just rip the band-aid off with one hour left in the work day?
Any word on the severance?
Curious if it follows 2009 where those called in in the morning were laid off and the afternoon were safe.

Some started today. A coworker was let go this morning. Sr Director sent a meeting req just prior. They walked into Sr Director and HR in the room and were let go immediately. No director or manager in the room. Manager was unaware. :(
