They are laying more and more people every month, while going through Agile transformation they are optimizing teams and management. Expecting more layoffs in IT

I agree with you.. it's nothing to do with agile transformation.. past few years uhg recruiting lot of TDPers.. now they are getting mature in terms of taking any work.... hence cuts on senior people.. you are getting the job done with less money..

Nothing about agile transformation calls for cuts like this. I was on one of the agile transformation leadership teams and was cut.
It's going to take years to build the trust that is lost, morale will take even longer.
This organization has no concept of agility.
