A severance question for Walmart Pharmacists Layoffs. I was recently let go pulled into he back 60 days pay and info on a so called Severance package. Tech with experience prior to Walmart and total time at Walmart of 8 months.
Certified by Walmart and one of the top techs at our store. But I was also last one in so first one out Is what I would like to believe but I could be wrong. Very curious to how this so called severance package will look like since I didn't have a year even in at Walmart
Yeah check with HR and if they don't have an answer, keep asking who you can talk to until you get one. I'm not sure on hourly associates but I know for Salary and Management it's 2 week minimum and 40 week max. So less than a year I believe = 2 weeks but not sure if it's the same for you. My understanding is for less than 1 yr, you aren't eligible for severance package. The 2 months of pay and benefits after date of notification is all you would get. But, HR or store management should be able to help confirm what you get. Double check with them. And I can relate--same thing happened to me. I wish you the best!
