Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Still spending that money.

I just don't get it. With all you hear about the reduction in the labor force, and the reductions in spending, money is still being wasted. Stores are coming up $5000 plus in intentory since the layoffs of the RSS (but the stores are not reporting this, it is being "fixed" not to make things look as bad). Retail store are still able to do team building events and waste money.

I also see all these other departments have events monthly by having team building events and banquets wasting money (the training department). Some of my ex coworkers and friends could still have a job (example, the so called trainers, that do nothing). This just makes me upset because this is something that could be controlled but is overlooked so money can be wasted on people getting drunk and having a good time. Maybe we still could have some more help in retail and my ex coworkers would not have to go through the stress of being unemployed.

Maybe this is just something the stock holders don't care about because it's faked on the book.

They soon will care. Verizon just settled another multi million lawsuit for violating the FSLA - The Fair Labor Stamdards Act in the state of Illinois this effects the entire country as the justice court pulled all VZ's retail store payroll records nationwide. The Violation occurred between 2013 and 2017. This is in addition to the mass data breach at Verizon this past week affecting 6 million plus customers private informations. VZ management of coarse, Will try to smooth it all over and make excuses but sadly the facts are the facts

Have no fear, Q2 results readout is just around the corner! Another $hit quarter with declining revenue for a $hit company lead by $hit leadership and they don't get it.

Stores are money pits and the only reason they are still around is because the competition still has stores. It's a who blinks first standoff.

Fortunately there are still a lot of stupid consumers out there so retail still can con some people into the crap they sell but time is running out and money is running out.

Verizon is an Eron sized debt bomb that is a house of cards built on shady accounting. It will all come crashing down soon.
