Yet... IMHO - Dell will make the cuts before the end of their fiscal Q2 (end of July). They need to do this as they are currently bleeding money, which needs to stop. The call will be made, and the number of employees that are needed to be cut are massive. Glad I got out of there a couple of years ago and am working for a growing company instead of a dinosaur.

Loser, cuts are not part of any company.
In Dell NDC you have fell on your feet and kiss managers, especially in QA.
If you try to make company or product good you are out. Also you have to bribe systems test qa manager
You all listen to this fake news. Worry about getting your job done and not about who said what. Especially from someone who doesn't even work for the company. Cuts are part of every company, if you do your job you're safe. If you cry and moan about it then leave the company so they won't have to layoff others. We are all big boys and girls so lets put on our big boy pants and move along.
Agree and also heard senior HR mgr (actually a vp). Cuts to come.
Cuts will happen by the end of July.
August September is definitely when big cuts are coming. They have to clean house in third quarter. Q4 is replan. This came upon a meeting with senior HR.
Maybe not today - but it WILL happen. It has to. Too many employees relative to revenue and margin. And since revenue is trending down (especially storage), there is no other option...
Not happening
