Thread regarding Raymond James Financial Inc. layoffs

Couldn't wait to leave RJ after watching the slow, painful descent of morale and the rise in unethical treatment of employees. My fear was the same as everyone else's - hard to leave a job, even one that you hate, when you've got bills to pay, and there's always that fear that the next employer will be even worse. I can honestly say now that I don't regret the decision to leave RJ AT ALL... not even one little bit. My only regret is that I didn't make the decision sooner! Family and friends are telling me that I look so much happier now... that they actually see me smiling and I don't look as stressed. Pretty sad that I didn't even realize how bad my job was impacting my life!

To my friends who are still at RJ - the grass IS greener!!! There ARE still companies out there that will treat you like a valued employee! ...companies that WILL pay you a competitive salary and not make your life miserable! I wish you all the best!

Congratulations, left 2 years ago and fell the same way. No more unpaid long days!
