Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Hundreds more layoffs confirmed at DXC

The memo is real and it seems that hundreds more jobs are on the line for the second round of layoffs. It's a part of planned $1 billion cost cut through consolidation, which, of course means that heads will roll. Good luck everybody!

Jyna isn't just a reference to his wife? Oh I misunderstood.

The difference is that all the pretence has gone under DXC. HPE never acknowledged the sheer scale of the plan or said it was just another BAU activity.

Nick Wilson quite proudly and bluntly tells you it is. Laurie said it was with that shareholder's pack.

Well if you want profits - move offshore that is the mantra. Look at trump, he makes his ties in Jyna (china) and calls for "Make in America". - That is capitalism, unfortunately there will be wfr's.

Here is my question, what is DXC doing different today that CSC/HPE did not do the last few years. What will produce the profit to care for employees and clients. So far I see no plan other than cut cost. Which effective for only a going out of business sale.

Ask yourself if there is the change needed to make this a viable concern.

750-900 jobs to go. Cus facing techy jobs too. People in Erskine/Newcastle brace for impact.
