There were some passengers on a ship with a broken sail and mast in the middle of the sea who asked 'what is the future?'
Well there is this news that just hit...
"Avaya told the judge that we have reached an agreement in principle with our First Lien Group (1Ls, our largest creditor group) and the U.S. Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (the government body that protects the pensions benefits of American workers), and we expect to file an Amended Plan of Reorganization by next week.
We also received unconditioned Court approval of our motion to extend our exclusivity for another 60 days to Sept. 16. The extension is fully supported by the 1L Group based on the material progress that has been made during Avaya’s current exclusivity period. Extending Avaya’s exclusivity period will help us keep stakeholders focused on negotiating the terms of the Amended Plan we expect to file with the court next week."
No future, quicker I get out the better.
