If any of you imagine that by doing ANYTHING you can save yourself from the WFR bullet then you are sadly mistaken.
I see people on here talking about colleagues or areas who do nothing and how their own hard work and dedication to the customer and the business is what will see them remain.
It won't.
If only layoffs were about performance or value to the business it would make sense, but its not.
The target is to have 100,000 employees by end of FY19. Doesn't matter which of the 80,000 get cut between now and then, although the likely targets are anyone earning more money than the lowest paid equivalent somewhere else in the world.
It also matters not one jot that you believe your American or European employee is more technically capable and able than their equivalent third world colleague.
This is the sad fact here, there is only one logic - reduce the payroll bill.
