Thread regarding Molina Healthcare Inc. layoffs

PSA: Read the severance and release agreement

Read thoroughly. There is a "No reinstatement" clause, I called HR about it and it means exactly that. If you sign it, it means you can't be rehired by Molina after Oct 1st, indefinitely. If you continue reading it, it even goes into if you end up working at a company Molina acquired or merged with, you will be bounded to quit.

I'm not sure if everyone got the same document, but READ carefully. If you see anything questionable, ask a lawyer and negotiate if you need to.

Email HR and they will have this language removed.

Many mistakes were made that led this purge. However, it is unlikely Molina will revisit this "mistake" and send amended notifications to impacted employees from the first wave. Whether or not legal recourse can be pursued to receive an amended notification has yet to be determined.

I was also told this was a mistake, but anyone concerned should absolutely call their HR partner.
