Our office was told in an all staff meeting today that about 300 employees were let go across the company. Can anyone confirm this? We're really wondering what the second wave will bring if an estimated 1400 is the end total. They love to preach One Molina, but everything feels so isolated and in the dark.

All I know is that my entire Plan is basically phoning it in until October 1st and using their workday to search for other jobs.. it's truly amazing sight to behold.. entire departments on Linked-In, Monster and others..doing nothing else and just letting incoming calls ring and ring without picking up... (so basically just like any other ordinary day now that I think about it..)
We heard 300 for every pay period up to September
There were 51 people let go just from the Illinois plan. Frontline staff, supervisors, managers, all the way up to the CMO. Other plans only 2 or 3 staff in the first wave.
Yes this is true per the email received on Thursday. Not sure what departments will be effected. But the wave that is coming is for the frontline staff
Heard from a VP yesterday that the headcount for the week was 200.
My neighbor happened to hear a couple talking about it at a Starbucks. What are the odds. 300 will be layed off every week up until September.
That's why I wanted to ask here if anyone has heard a different number or knew otherwise. They can claim to be as "transparent" as they like, but I don't trust anything they say.
Frankly, taking any company's word on number of layoffs is not advisable. They will lie, deceive, cover up, whatever it takes to make it look better than it is.
