I don't want to work any more than 8 hours in the day so my day is spent working as much as I can. I cannot waste time by going to these things. Although sometimes I will listen to it at my desk while working.

This really could work. A protest where nobody shows up. They will see an empty audience and know they lose. Genius. Not only for Sabre but for every company and many other situations. Show your lack of support. You win by doing nothing. BTL. It's a new movement.

Will the wasting time SED be canceled? When they see only ones who show up are VP stooges and chumps who drink any coolaid offer. We will know who with them and who is with us. Look around in the room and you know everyone there is worthless company stooge. The real workers are not in room. We are real Sabre. Without us they are nothing. After layoff many will leave. Millions of USD of stock given to them is disgusting image. 100 USD reward is joke. Some getting 2.5 million USD per month for what?

What exactly do we want to achieve by this? I am sure nobody cares. Anyway layoffs are imminent and nothing we can do about it. The question remains - is it the best and only remedy we have to fix that fix that mess we are all in? Does anybody knows where are we going to be? How are we planning to get over there?

I am going to do some other urgent admin work instead. I am charging the admin PR for it too. I work hard and do my job. If management want to lay me off for that that's their loss. I'll take my small severance and get a new job within a month. Good luck with stability problems when you lay off even more people. Are the managers going to do the work? LOL. Imagine that. Imagine your useless manager trying to do your job.

Managers are going to wish they were laid off too once they have to do real work.

There is no point asking a tough question when we all know it will only be answered with BS.

Not attending will have no effect. Instead why don't you show up in person and ask the tough questions that never get asked.

My only hope is that once they let the employees that were successful go they finally see they have nothing to work with. Useless Mgmt will leave due to the cuts because they will actually have to produce and for many this will be difficult. It is all very disheartening and wish there was another way around but it is apparent layoffs will happen and others will leave afterwards.

Fabulous idea!! It would be great if all could come together and send a message. There will be those who are afraid, but they should know attending these meetings does not but a good check mark next to your name. I attended them all, got a good rating and was still laid off. Only upside was that my mgr was also impacted (not bitter grapes-she was a terrible mgr). Staff needs to do something to send a message upward. Heed the advice noted on several posts on the site. Get yourself prepared-better to have all you need before the cloud of shock sets in. Good luck to all on Monday.
