Find another job, I did, then ask for the WFR because at least in the USA the WFRs are every two weeks. It worked out nicely.

We still swap names off of the "list" on the account i work with and are able to swap with people who leave (no severance).
Different sh$t goes down all over the organization. No one knows all.
Well Kellyanne Conway the names of people getting WFR'd are locked in stone for more than six months now. The days of name swapping by managers is long gone and managed well about their heads.
Please pick the best option from the following...
A: We (DXC) will terminate you when we are ready... our call. In the meantime, work for the same wages you are since day one, work knowing the WFR option is around the corner.
B: Take control of your life, start work in a place that will pay you a good wage, with benefits, at a time of your choosing.
Sadly for some people this is actually a hard choice.
You mean get another job and then ask for a WFR from DXC? What if they don't grant it (for whatever reason)? Then you just resign? What's the advantage of asking for the WFR? Severance?
Yes that is the smart plan !
