Thread regarding Molina Healthcare Inc. layoffs

Pathways in Ohio

Just got an email in Ohio to nolonger send any referrals to Pathways, because the program nolonger exists. I am not clear if there are dedicated employees to just pathways program, or if it's something integrated into the whole matrix of it all, so can't give much insight into that. I just know that the email said the program nolonger exists in Ohio. When this whole thing started, didn't they say that Pathways wasn't going to be affected? Lies. Shocker.

That is true. The email list TX, OK and WV. It was less than 50 employees in total. As someone in IT supporting Pathways, I know that these states were underperforming for a long period. They were kept open despite incurring losses because Molina developed plans to have them serve Molina members. This never happened and the operations were not sustainable under pre-Molina services, rates and staffing shortages.

Pathways is being shut down in several states. Pathways employees received an email a few months ago about pathways operations ending in the next couple of months

It was only one employee in OH who was hired to meet the behavioral health needs of MHI. Things fell apart for MHI before much momentum was established by Pathways.
