I was laid off, and the nice old man on the phone said that M8 is a huge success and will be supported for years to come. So the lucky go-getters that will have the dream job of supporting M8 will get to stay at Oracle at least until 2022...

I really don't get how they think to sell M8... maybe forcing customers to buy it with some kind of auditing? really don't get it.
It's is fair. Yet, it'll be a slow death with recurring, quarterly layoffs.
I would not want to be a part of this story...
