Several people told to look for other jobs and given no time line for when it will be time to leave. This is akin to being a gear thrown into a box before being thrown into the trash. The maniacal dogs running this dying company have no clue what they are doing, like a pack of creatures tearing at a corpse to get a little piece of the meat before running away to hide. How much longer will share holders allow this to continue is the only question now.

Gearboxed is working out great for me! I was going to retire anyway the end of the year. Now I can do little or no work until they decide what my last day is. It is like having a paid vacation.

It is so sad to see this has become commonplace across the board. Started with IBM over 10 years ago, loved my job, colleagues, the strategic direction the company .. we were all excited about the future. Fast forward after 10 successful years and watching IBM in the past 2 RA great contributors (friends of mine) I was gear-boxed in mid-May and just told 2 weeks ago that my last day is Nov 15th.
May 15th -- Gearboxed ( 90 days)
August 15th - RA'd (90 days)
Last Day -Nov 15th
