I used to work at uop a Honeywell company back in march. I am still in contact with a few guys I worked with and they said they all got pay adjustments recently. The reason? ~11-13 guys quit in the last year. They are desperate to hold on the guys. When I was there we even threatened to form a union. Even though some received an increase thanks to me (since I was one of the guys to leave) you couldn't pay me to return.

CB&I is planning to announce the sale of $2 billion technology group by this Friday, Honeywell is expected as the buyer. This will mean certain overlap between UOP and CBI technologies and consequently some job reductions to achieve “ synergies”.
Why would UOP Honeywell care if people leave they have the "low cost center" in India. Low cost = Low quality. I worked at UOP and happy to be retired. Was tired of the coverup and you will make India work. Let us see if Delhi India makes their Vision 20/20, 2020 is coming and I believe they are a long way from being self sufficient.
This company treats employees like sh-- and pays them way below market with little room to advance yet they wonder why everyone is jumping ship. People are leaving left and right across all sites.
