Been with the company for over 10 years as TL. This is the worst morale has ever been. People don't like coming to work anymore. Good associates who never would have thought of leaving before are leaving. Positions being eliminated while piling more and more responsibility on everyone else. Micro-managed, mistreated, all while telling us to be friendly for the member. If your company doesn't treat its associates right, how do you expect them to be happy to help everyone else? It's a damn shame. I loved this company and was loyal. Use to love coming to work. Not anymore.
Agreed, @PuY9QUA-5gpy. If anybody needs proof that treating your workers better improves profits, just look at McDonald's corporate. Instead of layoffs when profits continued to fall, they bumped pay and gave vacation time to their workers (among other things) and they finally started growing profits again. Not only did it not hurt the company, on the contrary.
