Seems some f---ery is going on in the thread of this post. A few comments I've seen before are now missing. How does that happen? Are there others that are taken down as well and for what reason?

I see a lot of folks here delusional. No new busines equals no work equals no jobs. Waco could be the best run of all l3 and l3 would still close waco manufacturing because there aint nothin to make and hasnt been any new business comin in for a while. Why are all you looking at that like it is something that middle manaegment in Waco coukd fix? Thats a corporate problem. They just cant selling anything.

If you go to your supervision/HR and ask to be put on the layoff list, and then the layoff doesn't happen. Do they start looking for a reason to fire you

Please pick me. I’ve been kicking myself for not taking the original 20% deal. When it was offered, I did have a lot of hope that we could overcome. If you need to reduce further, please offer another out.

It is the local management s fault they have completely destroyed any moral left here. By threatening and belittling individuals and not listening to the people doing the work. Those tool bags couldn't lead a dog down a driveway the only way New York could help would be firing the whole management team and replacing them

lot's of blaming on Leadership at Waco and I agree but New York has some responsibility to run the business, not one of them have come down here to Waco since last year, so what does that tell you, CK stop by and see us, take a few of us to the side, we can tell you the real story.

Oh it's happening get your resumes ready, or just leave and let management figure out how to finish up the work. Your loyalty will only get you to the soup lines faster

From my last count, Waco still has leadership ($$$$) of 12 that are not making any decesions because we are being told by Greenville when and what to do on the aircraft. My question if it was necessary to have two rifs this past month why didn't any of the leadership leave if they are just occupying a office and not making decesions. That would be a large cost reduction, maybe even a morale booster, since so many folks at the lower levels have been rif'd and leadership has been mostly untouched.

Any management reading these post want to comment?

A fearless leader did say at his first townhall and in meetings when he first came to our facility that if he couldn't turn it around he would leave. I wonder what turn it around is, maybe when you close the doors? at least we got burgers out of the deal. I believe we should wish them the best, because when they close the doors the industry will know who failed and the rest takes care of itself... so stay positive, past history tells us there is no way they can be successful and with taking out those employees that know the programs and were making the difference it will be harder to perform so I say the best of luck and best wishes to get back on tract...................................... Go Aggies!

The best part of L3 is the rumors are ENDLESS. The only thing we can predict about corporate America and DOD contracting is that things are going to change! The corporation is not here for your well being; they don't care about your mortgage; Neither does the customer. So stay if you are comfortable or find an exit strategy if you can't deal with the drama. No one is going to be protected from this, in the end even the top guys will be impacted. Personally, I'm working on my exit plan.

I can understand your feeling toward management, but to see them fail may mean a lot of good people will lose their jobs and be hurt. Why not wish the best for those that are still there and working hard to succeed?

The only thing i can think of that L-3 Waco did for me was to relocate my family from Lousiana back to Texas with moving expensives. Now that i no longer work there, it was a waste of 12 years of my life! The most messed up leardership i have seen in 30 plus years of aircraft stucture maintenance. That place is full off evil and stupid. I can not wait for time to pass and see those f--ks fail!
