Why would the COM tell some teams they are safe and others not? Why tell some that all are safe?
Doesn’t make sense.

I'm not sure why we would continue to seek assurances from people we know will lie.
KT is the phc com, right? So there will be a meeting tomorrow. If all phc’s are safe, we can ask KT to confirm.
I realize these meetings are not about layoffs, but if the below poster is right saying that the phc com is assuring some that they are safe, we can always just ask directly, no?
Of course you are safe! Now focus on graduating all of your members and quit worrying!
Why am I not sold this?
I’m a phc and I heard this round of rif’s will affect us as well.
“My team was assured by our coach, our COM, and our regional director that PHCs will not be impacted in the next round of layoffs. I hope that is true. We've already been hit three times.”
I believe you, poster, but I am so confused as to why all phc teams were not told this. My team was not told this.
Makes no sense why certain phc teams were reassured and others not even remotely reassured, especially if the message was that NO phc’s would be impacted.
I figure we'll know it's coming after Tuesday's meeting. I just hope those that will be impacted don't have to wait 5 weeks to find out. The anxiety was too much this last round! Now I think I'm past worrying about it.
However, I can't foresee any layoffs where PHC's aren't impacted...our decreasing roster size is all the information I need at this point.

Probably mid November, after the figure out the early retirement folk, or the early November, to give the 60 days notice to close out the year
