If so, that s---s. They should let you work 1/2 days (and pay you for full days) so you can deal with the terrible problems caused by Maria.

They are not... yet.
After Hurricane Irma grazed PR some managers asked employees to make up lost hours due to plant shutdown. That obviously didn't happen since Maria came next, but nothing like that has been sent so far.
