Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

How many Cisco Spark users there are?

The reason I ask is because no-one in collab will tell me. Makes it very hard to sell to my customers as they always ask!!!

I worked on the Cisco Collaboration team and handled the metrics for SPARK. As of March 2017, there were approximately 80,000 SPARK licenses (Worldwide). Out of the 80,000 SPARK licenses, there were approximately 54,000 Cisco employees signed up for SPARK, which left approximately 26,000 SPARK licenses for all customers (globally). Cisco gave away these licenses to Enterprise customers for FREE, in an effort to expand the business and get customers hooked on the products. It was a failed attempt. Customers did not see the value in purchasing "SPARK", as the competition offered better products and services for a fraction of the cost.

When I search the internet "Cisco Spark", all I am able to find are cisco.com URLs and a few paid ads. I have yet to find a "believably organic" discussion with any mention of Cisco Spark.

Spark is a sh!t platform at best. I hate they make us use this crap which hurts productivity. It's like a never ending stream of vomit with zero organization.

In some recent pvt with partners, Cisco just rationalized that spark is catering the new type of I.T Manager, where features have to be fast and plenty and quality is not the major thing (wonder who these guys are, since this seems retarded). However this seems to be mostly for the U.S market In the rest of EMEA they halted spark call completely and seem to be positioning spark as a webex replacement, and sticking with the rest of the collab portfolio they already have.
