Sounds like all big companies who have lost their way. They fail to innovate so they buy new companies may off the people who built them, ruin customer service, fail to invest in new products then lay off more people when the inevitable happens. Meanwhike, executive compensation soars because having failed to even buy growth they resort to share buybacks to keep stockholders from fleeing. Eventually you have GE.
Philips is closing the Cleveland facility at Miner road by the end of 2018. The Bothell facility is also being diwnsized as well as Andover and Eindoven will be outsourced to other companies to avoid severance packages and limit their impact on the corporate budget.
