Layoffs are not done, and according to a contact I have in HR, they will now be accelerating, cyclically, perhaps monthly as top management positions the company for sale. My source indicated that "upwards of 500" employees were sacked yesterday, many of whom were "foundational engineers upon whose work, CDK was able to establish itself as the apex provider in this market."

This is about the time that those with stock options start to exercise that option to make as much as possible prior to selling off the remainder of what is left of the company.

I have heard the same about the accelerated layoffs. at least 3 more in the next 6 months. just confirming
..meanwhile the 'survivors' are forced to do the job of multiple people, sacrificing quality and customer service for profit. CDK management hasn't cared for a while now, and now it is obvious. Forget India. I heard from a manager recently they are second guessing their outsourcing plans, at least on the R&D side- projects take too long and are not high quality. So, if that is the case who is left to do the work? A few overworked, underpaid employees in the US?
Between CDK's growing bad rep as a co. with a poor working enviornment and the fact they tend to underpay salary-wise, they will have a hard time recruiting.
I have no direct knowledge, but I would not be surprised to see continued layoffs happening. You shouldn't be either. Start building up that Linkedin page.
There's been more managers than usual in the Cincinnati office, and I'm also hearing about people being let go. India is supposed to be starting soon.
I hope this is not true...
