I’m getting out of the health insurance industry. Received an offer and jumped at it. Just waiting on HR background check and I can give my two weeks.

"It was good while it lasted. Time to move on."

Where?

Spend some time on "Latest Posts" where you will see this isn't just happening at Humana. It's going on across the entire industry.

Or they may have hired the new ones, expecting to lay off older ones

I think there are 220 Hcmss. So, if there are 750 or so CMs, that puts it at 1,000, not including CHEs or PHCs, so there may be 150-200 cut from those positions, if the percentage and number estimates posted are correct. I guess with 2.0 and the revamping we would know more where the cuts are angled at, it seems PHCs and CMs

My phc team hasn’t been at 17 since round 1. Every round, we absorb 1 or 2 more from coaches who were let go, while at the same time losing some more to layoffs and then losing others who found work elsewhere. Unless our team is atypical, I would guess that other phc teams are consistently below 15 as well, at this point.

Not sure about the others, but there is about 750 HCMs i think. There are 42 teams, so if each team has 18 people it would be right around 750. Of course that number could be lower if teams don't have 18. I know my team has hired new associates to stay a 18 everyone someone has left, even very recently. Which also begs the question, why hire new nurses if they plan to lay off? That's just cruel
