Sears is having issues with it's mattress suppliers in the same vein as they are with Whirlpool: supplier doesn't trust Sears ability to pay.
To get around this, a project has been implemented to outsource the production of a "Sears only" brand (NO it will NOT be labelled Kenmore) that will be supplied by a cheap Chinese manufacturer. These fine quality products sarcasm will be rolled out in January to the top 100 mattress stores in the nation by sales and profit. They do not want to get caught with no supply line when they declare bankruptcy in the first quarter of 2018.
