Thread regarding Sears layoffs

A lot of posters here are short sellers

I made this point in another thread, it is worth repeating

A lot of the people posting on this site are short sellers and people who have a direct interest in hurting employee morale - they want sears to fail - because they make money as the stock falls. That is all they care about and they WILL SAY ANYTHING.....they also pretend to be employees - it is very easy to post here and make false claims.

I have been following Sears closely - some of the posts on this website are from posters on an investing site I look at. They are relentless and constantly lying...and trying to scare.

I am not an employee.

Be very careful who you listen to (good or bad - make your own judgement). These guys making these posts are weasels.

PS I should note that on the same investing I look at - when I try to post counter-arguments based on incorrect facts made by these posters the moderators to do not put it through...because the site gets more hits/money based on negativity - the site makes money from negative news at the expense of Sears and its employees.

PPS for those that are going to post saying I'm a corporate/Lampert or something stupid - let me tell you I don't give a %$%# about employee morale really, it ain't my business.....if you are an employee and your morale is low...what can I say really - everybody has problems that is life. I am just here to tell you about the short seller weasels are on this site. that's it.

@2rvk Don't get it.....the only time you don't have dignity is when you allow someone else to take it from you. If you are laid off, it is what it is. No one should feel they have lost their dignity. It just is time for someone to move on. That is all it means.

@2rsg - Okay Skippy, your mom is calling for you; your grilled cheese sandwich is ready. Now run upstairs and let the adults post about serious matters!

I saw that piece on fox biz too. The shorter look like a 45 year old living in his moms basement trying to score a win. This guy was posting stuff everywhere.

He talked about destroying employee morale etc.

Look at all the posts on here lately trying to bury any good news and spin things.

@Op - You are so full of it! First of all, traders who take a short position in a stock are counterbalanced by other traders that take a long position in a stock. Short traders believe a stock will go down and long traders believe a stock will go up. By the sound of your screed you must be holding a long position. Neither short nor long traders can make a stock go up or down. If that were true, then they would make money on every single trade they make. Most financial experts warn that taking either position in a stock is a huge financial risk. The value of a stock is determined by a company's finances, growth prospects, as well as, market/economic conditions. There are numerous firms that rate the value and prospects of stocks. I've never heard one of them make a determination based on the rantings of people on message boards!

Haha looks like HE is all over this blog because they are loosing everyone wanting to know the truth becuse hard working low paid corporate staff stopped believing their lies and stopped performing the other 5 people's jobs they picked up. They know one person can't handle 10 people's jobs so they need to stop it fast. Expect same old bull sh-- from them because they are hanging on by threads after laying off over 1000 corporate associates this year.

Oh no, the OP is right. Google around, they brag about fooling "the rubes" who work at sears, kmart and other companies frequently.

The guy who said its grown men still living in moms basement is exactly right. There was a show about it on Fox business about a month ago.

Wait...do people actually believe something this stupid would work?.. it's definitely a stretch. I just assumed all the troublemakers here were simply no-lifes with nothing better to do.

And the short sellers just got home from work, settled in to the couch in moms basement, and started posting here like crazy in a desperate attempt to bury these threads.

Hope mom has dinner ready upstairs soon boys.

While I completely agree with this post, I can't agree with anyone who doesn't also acknowledge the fact that bankruptcy is a possibility in the near future.
