heard from within the executive suite a massive layoff across California is coming. does anyone know what that would mean? the executives were cheering and patting each other on the backs after the planning meetings

I heard they are cutting 40 more supervisors system wide. I don’t know who else. I do know they are getting exactly what they want by treating everyone so crappy! All of the smart “newer” people are finding other jobs. Even some people that have under 10 years until retirement. Im sure Hunter Harrison is flattered that UP is mimicking their broken corporate model after his
3rd Qtr reports did say job cuts will continue, small and large. More cuts before 4th Qtr reports. G55 full steam ahead. Job cuts is not a rumor.
Is this round of layoffs by December or starting in January?? Any other locations facing layoffs soon?
