What's a wish book? Said everyone under the age of 50.
Many of the items in the Wish Book are either not in stock or backordered. How can we fill anyones wish when we dont have the product? And if we do have the product do we ship it in the old detergent box that we have been using?
They even admit it is to bring back the old, and I mean Old, customers who remember the wish book. So that would make the customers they are trying to bring back at least in their 50's or older.
Those customers, like my parents, Sears pi**ed off years ago with shoddy products and horrible service. Maybe, give away a free Alfie if you order something from it.
The Wish Books I remember had dozens of pages of toys, games, sporting goods, etc. In short, if you could play with it, it was in the Wish Book! And the real fun of it was that every time you picked it up, you found a new toy or trinket you didn't notice before. This is a Wish Book in name only. Nothing about it feels like the real thing.
Eddie are you there. Yes. Eddie what is sears holdings? My real estate business. Eddie are you in retail. No I am not.
Alexa what is a sears or kmart store? Don't know what u mean? Talk to eddie our new device. He has all the answers.
People used to use sears catalogs as tp back in the day when they actually where a business. Nowadays most kids don't know what a magazine is or wish book. Most haven't even heard of a sears or kmart store.
No printed catalogs aren't a waste of time. I don't know if this one will be good or not, but there are still catalogs and many enjoy looking at them.
Your serious right ..... lol.... even th kids/children these days have smartphones and tablets which have inernet access. They dont hav any use for any printed catalogs, again a waste of time and money.
Lots of sarcasm which is a good outlet. Ah let the Alfie go.....there are always bad products that surface......anyone in retail knows over the years.
I wonder if the wishbook is linked to Alfie. Lol.
Alfie, order me a bicycle from page three. Alfie, are you there? Alfie....
Too little. Too late.
"What more can I say? The transformation continues!"
Yup, it's transforming into an even bigger failure than before!!!
I’d hardly call it a Wishbook. The old Wishbooks were thick catalogs. This one’s thin, like a magazine, and hardly has anything in it. The toys take up 2 pages.
You know what, Amazon has a wishlist too!
Wow. A wish book. Bring back the 80s and 90s. Can't wait to circle the stuff that I want for Christmas from my parents. Maybe I can wish for the company to be profitable while looking? Who buys stuff from catalogs now days when it is easier bought with one click from amazon with free shipping?
neither of your read the article, its print and digital. All items are available.
Ugh. Trying to appeal to nostalgia isn't a good plan. Young people couldn't care less and the old people who did care are either dead or they no longer care due to poor service...
Print catalogs...classic! Wonder how many products in it are no longer available because vendors bailed?
