Just how many contracts can one business lose we have lost 6 major ones this year down to poor planning, tools and offshore mess ups.
I get to see alot of the passing e-mails and it's shocking what's happening in Aberdeen.
So many mistakes offshore and complaints weekly. how can they cut back so much on staff so they have to send trainees and graduates out on jobs and told pretend you know what your doing.

financial mismanagement in stoneywood is nothing but incompetence. BHGE senior management should look into this and get rid of the culprits unless the company don't care how much they lose. What a mess and this has cost jobs.
So little work that even with 65% pay offs so far guys at home for months waiting on work.
Only a few experienced people left in the building and they will be going soon I am sure.
I honestly don't believe that baker will still be in Aberdeen this time next year only a few guys left as it is and more pay offs to come.

That sums up Aberdeen office. Inexperience everywhere. Messing up offshore. Losing contracts. Useless management. Handing out confidential info and losing work. Nobody gets on with others. Lots of people applying for jobs elsewhere. Couldn't be a bigger mess. This what happens when people in control don't know what they doing.
1 manager i know of 3 desk engineers and 2 offshore guys all have told me there looking and applying to other compaines regular . Also most of the yard staff but that's because they get treated like total dogs by everyone.
The out going mail I have access too is the more interesting thing of people giving away info to certain companys about contracts , day rates and business.
AS I say it's not hard reading these why losing business.
All will be kept for when my head is on the chopping block again.

Aberdeen always has been full of back stabbers and total idiots.
It's the worst place I have ever worked by miles and only getting worse.
No one gets on just small groups of men spending all day s---ing up to managers who a few years ago were doing there jobs and a few years before that were at uni or working at Tesco.
No life experience at all and almost no offshore experience.
Most people in there positions are only there because of contacts or at the time the company could not get anyone else,
many of the guys I work with have been sacked from weatherford or schlumberger for gross misconduct or just because they have no idea what there doing and come to baker hughes as they will take anyone it seems .
They have sacked all the good managers making way to unepxerinced managers, engineers and offshore people who mess up daily and are not interested or held accountable for.
I am ment to be learning from these people but honestly the place is beyond bad and surely can't be a reflection of service companies?

A list has been made up and sent to upper management for next round of layoffs from these emails that i no way have access to so we will see who is right the next 6 weeks wont we.
I know that I will for one will not be unemployed at christmas but some or all of the 5 I know about might just be.

You can access most things on the baker system with just a few codes and the right access passes. It's not hard to obtain certain rights and to locate passwords.
I am not the only one that's the funny thing. Knowledge is power and the whole reason I still have my job.

Place is so bad now I know of at least 5 people 1 who is a top manager who are all applying weekly to the other service companys as they all know its on it's last legs.
The great thing with having access to all the outgoing emails .
Upper management would not believe what's going on and who is informing who from other companies of what we're doing .
