Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

OK....so it is possible that layoffs won't happen next week. Right?

We have new information or clarification from someone on this post that as long as we are given notice before December of a layoff that those affected won't get bonuses at the beginning of the year as stated from the FAQ on bonuses...... So with that being said there is no rush to adhere to Nov 1st for the 60 day notice before Jan 1st correct? Does any source have any concrete info on next week for sure?

SSs continue to meet metrics but I think the poster meant we dont have enough tasks to sustain us. We are required to choose 3/day from the queue (plus warm transfers and more tasks as needed). There were 180 tasks at COB today for 198 SSs. That is so low we have been instructed to choose zero tasks and work our personal queues down to zero on Monday. We were low on 10/2 with close to 1400. Ending the month with 180 and anticipated cuts dies not look promising.

So Live Healthy program will continue? HCCP PHC’s will remain?

Thank you, defender of hcmss to clarify our work loads and to correct that misperception...my whole team continues to be busy with the queue, warm transfers and we're meeting our numbers without a problem

Who’s roles are cm’s?

And, poster, your information is way wrong, hcmss have been able to hit their metric standards pretty consistently, not sure where you got your idea of barely one task a day....the hcmss are not having any issues with productivity...better check your source on that one, no hcmss is only doing barely one task a day...so, please shake you're insecurities elsewhere and not on the hcmss teams. They are solid. Unlike the cms

Delusional? No, they still have warm transfers and this time of year is historically lower than the beginning of the year...nope, HCM SS are pretty safe, a lot less of them then the CMs who have lowers rosters and no way to replace them....sorry, my delusions , as you call them, are pretty based in reality and conversations about direction the program is going in. So, please stop HCM SS bashing, you may end of wishing you were part of their team. They are safe. The CMS are on the block

So PHC’s won’t be cut?

HCMSS has barely enough tasks for each one of tjem.to do 1 a day. You're delusional if you think they aren't being cut.

CMs will be cut down. They moved so many to monitored, so the PHCs can easily pick them up and carry that. HCM SS aren't going to be impacted, that's from a higher up, that I can't disclose without giving away how I know. The cuts will be in RIT, LTIH, CMs

So we know RIT is one group being eliminated per another post. Who is the other group? It has to be CHEs. They are by far the most expendable. We will absorb their work and do our own recorded consents. Cause you know we have all the time in the world for that! The nurses will stay because with our licenses we can do more than PHCs. Probably cut SS too. It's not going to be pretty!

Whether it's next week or the week after, lay offs are going to happen. This isn't a guess either. Your coache knows a little more than they're letting on. I don't know the numbers of each departments, but tele is going to be hit hard. Up to 50% in some areas. A couple groups completely eliminated. I know that's vauge info, but it's all I've got for mow.

Email some leaders received 9/21 had a link for talking points where it stated voluntary retirement was an effort to reduce positions that will be phased out over the next 60 days. So we should know by nov 20 at the latest.

One time payment = (base salary x increase % planned by leader x 14/12ths) + (base salary x increase % planned by leader x 3% x 2/12ths)

For most, increase % planned would be 3%. Unless your yearly eval was "excellent"

What did they say the lump sum was? Is it $200 across the board for everyone? Or 3%?

They really aren’t bonuses. They are a lump sum payment of your 2018 raise. Paid in advance. So for people laid off by 2018 they wouldn’t be getting a lump sum.

Yes I think because there's going to be deep cuts and this is companywide the coaches may not know as much information as before and have been told they will be terminated if they share information. I think many coaches are going to be laid off this round also

We have not been getting our usual warnings / heads up on this site like we did the last 3 rounds. Of course, it doesn’t help that whenever someone does offer what they know, someone else always comes on to bash them for being anonymous/ vague/ careful or not as specific as the basher would prefer.

If it's November, it closes out the year easier for humana from a business point of view
