How long do you think will DXC last?

not until christmas!
Difficult to say.
Whilst is feels like November 2018 would be a stretch for it, its still the third biggest IT company now and despite the mid-range clients leaving (which I don't think DXC care too much about anyway), its down to whether the large healthcare, banking and manufacturing behemoths will continue to get value and support from DXC as a trusted partner. If they go, then DXC slides into the swamp.
Investors have been advised to hold steady a little longer to see if DXC picks up, as dividends were down to 0.56 per share earlier this year, with all those 'headwinds' , economic downturn and the like, but the company still has a sizeable cashflow, so it won't go under anytime soon. But it doesn't have the edge on skills or experience at the moment.
Hell, I don't know.
Friday 16th November 2018 would be my guess. 6 months after Mike leaves.
In a year. This sh-- company will fold up.
maybe sold for $100 in case no rationality prevails. Introducing schemes like entitled to participate in lucky draw will not improve processes.
I work in PS. I can't imagine anyplace being worse than DXC, so if we got sold off, it might be a wonderful thing!
Ditto PS to be gone soon
Agree with 1dfm, there are lots of government sectors with business that competitors could want to buy, which could be the way DXC achieves some of it's headcount reductions.
I suspect a slow decline over the next couple of years will be followed by a purchase by one of the outsourcing companies.
DXC will be sold or spun off in bits and pieces, with public sector will be the first to leave. This is not a company that's in it for the long haul.
18 months. Tata or a Chinese outsourcer will pick up what's left
Until it gets sold for parts or one year.
