What happened to POWER, PaRiSC, Alpa, SUN and other will be just like what happens to x86.
The ARMy volume and faster pace of TSMC and Samsung process cadence is a repeat of what x86 did. Can't change the economic facts, too bad BK picked the wrong strategy like PDO and sealed Intels fate, but that is what you get from SJSU grad

This will be game over for Intel on servers, in just a few short years. Nobody wants to keep feeding the monopolistic, arrogant, clumsy albatross that Intel has become. All orher companies are developing standards like CCIX, CAPI, GenZ that make their components fungible and easily interconnected while leaving Intel outside. Future of the datacenter belongs to ARM (maybe POWER) CPUs, Nvidia GPUs and Xilinx FPGAs.

PTD is too dysfunctional and at the point of irrelevancy, yet they still want everyone working for Intel to worship them. Long time Intellers better off just quitting and joining the competitor if they want to keep their careers.
