Thread regarding Molina Healthcare Inc. layoffs

Feeling sick

I am wandering if someone out there with connections or friends in executive management or in the HR group has heard anything else on future layoffs

I am trying to continue to bring my best self to work every day, it's extremely hard.

My stomach is literally in knots and I feel sick every morning before work.

I'd appreciate some certainty, it would help my rapidly deteriorating health... I simply hate the waiting game. Rip off the band aid and move on.

Former Molina Employee is spot on. I don't want to alarm folks but the ship is 100% sinking. It's being sold, is what is happening....that is industry speculation and it's what I have thought for the last six to nine months. You will not be able to save your job. Your leadership won't be able to save your job. This is much bigger than your performance or contributions. You can stay, if you want to. You may get severance and perhaps that is what you want. But do not fool yourself into believing you have a future at Molina. There isn't a future beyond the next year, at best. I expected to be laid off and I was. Sadly, I am reading so many folks asking questions that shouldn't be a mystery to them at this point. I speak to folks still there who seem to feel the "reorg" of their department will be good and that the leadership statements are all they need to feel comfortable. It's a shame so many people want to believe this isn't happening, so they will believe what leadership tells them. The agenda is that the company will be sold. It is not personal as Molina is not a person. Just do your best while you are there but if you need a paycheck, start looking for where you can contribute and earn a pay check elsewhere. Process your grief about Molina, if you feel attached to the mission and the spirit of Molina....I surely was. We will all have to move on, eventually. Stay aware. This isn't about you. I wish everyone good luck. There are lots of companies who will be lucky to inherit the good people who come from Molina.

You need to leave Molina! The ship is sinking....fast! Sorry. Please keep looking for another job! Staying there is not worth it! I was not ready to leave. I liked the people I worked with there. I started putting in apps and I was fortunate to find something beforehand. As you probably have already read, It doesn't matter how good your performance is or how busy you are. They have an agenda and your livelihood doesn't factor in!
