There is no job security. Period. Xerox manages to the number and hold you accountable for things that a reasonable person would admit are beyond your control. I got fired because of this - I am not gonna go into details but they just waited for the smallest mistake to can me as they did not want to pay severance.

Thats OK - they have to do what they have to do - NOW after saying that , Ill say this - watch them too. Document anything you notice that is out of wack. Document everything that you think will be of use to you. For example if you are in a protected class of worker ie. age document anything that you can use to file an EEOC complaint if you feel that they are discriminating you based on your age. You should watch them - because they are most likely watching you. Never trust your manager - they are not your friends - dont say anything to your co- workers either.
Xerox terminates by lying. They document lies. Disreputable company.
