Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Intel is a lot better than people give it Credit

I am a senior researcher at Intel very estoric communication research I told my R&D director I was going back to Academics, as a tenured Associate Prof, After 5 weeks of trying to retain me sure was not the money. I Will make at most half of my Intel package, They said they would fund my academic research to the tune of $500k, they hooked me up with Isareli, and Chinese profs in adjecent spaces, plus they want me back durring summers, paid, which is good. Really amazing people, they know I won't have break thru for at least 5 years. They will help pay for my Lab and researchers, amazing investment. Be well be nice....love this place

IL works on the projects that are planned for 7 years later. Failure is expected. If you have a successful project accomplished in a very short amount of time, it is because you didn't take enough risk. What a great place for bozos to work at!
