I've heard work from home. I've heard outsourcing. I've heard move into smaller centers. I've heard complete closures. Does anyone have the truth?

Elgin moved to near O’Hare Airport and Charlotte is moving to another location in town, so I doubt call centers as we know it are gone.
They're hiring remote workers, still domestic, to man the call centers. They're testing it out now with a phased approach. Eventually, once this becomes successful, they'll be replacing most call center employees with these work-from-home/remote call center workers.
