Thread regarding Molina Healthcare Inc. layoffs

More layoffs in Q3 or Q4

September is the end of Q3. It wouldn't be crazy if they reduced costs more before the end of the fiscal quarter. They might want to wait for Q4 and reduce spending more in Q4. Clearly, it would reduce costs for the fiscal year by doing another lay off in either Q3 or Q4. Either way, more lay offs before the end of the fiscal year would make the company reflect higher profitability and will be more attractive for a purchaser. And THIS info isn't going to be shared on American Idol. But whether you watch American Idol or BBC news, you'll either survive the lay off or not.

Is Nov 15 ,exactly two month from Sept 15. Do they consider the fact that they are paying 2 month severance package and hence effective date is Nov 15 in WARN Report.

@gae no way - it'd be cutting to the bone and we would not be able to operate.

Just heard another 500 to be laid off next week. Pretty sure they're preparing to sell the company. They obviously have no concern about morale.
