9-18-17 The layoffs have began. Talk is about 30% to be laid off today. Sad day for those who have been there 15+years. No one is protected here.

Six San Diego technical writers were let go. Much of that work has steadily been transferred to the India tech writing group over the past several years. Problem is that because English is their second language, they would send their documents to U.S. writers to edit, and that was always a painful process, requiring many hours and generating many comments. Quality has never seemed to be much of a concern when it comes to that function.
Sales management at BD Cell Anaylsis has been dismantled over the past few weeks. This needed to be done.
BD is dismantling CareFusion one person at a time. It is sad for those who put so many years into the products and the company.
