Having just spent 15 min answering endless automated questions followed by a 30 min hold to nowhere on the DXC help desk my guess is that this is DXC technology to maximize profits before losing accounts. -10% per quarter forever.
To build in socially responsible safeguards in order to protect our basic human freedoms and to install regulations to curb and control AI to within certain parameter is something scientists are discussing right now.
But as long a corporate greed exists...!
You won't notice. It will be disguised in nice flowery language, like 'competitive agility', innovation, cost-savings, improved operational efficiencies.
We'll soon all be dead and some steel machines with machine guns will stand on our skulls.
That historical, glass, DXC case will just hold a single robotic steel arm with a central finger raised.
