GE Germany Layoffs

Don't have any info on these rumors, but if Power tries to get out of Germany, that will take a long time. Moves like that go through the EU and German government boards, and both will have issues with it. No saying it is isn't possible, but it will take a long time for the process to run its course. So unless the process has already started, I doubt that will happen this year.

So EU won't approve layoffs so cuts will continue to be deepest in non eu countries, US, UK and Switzerland. We will know more in October after EU decision comes down. Mgmt headcutters are ready to move on layoffs, contractors are lined up as back ups. Expect fulfillment and quality issues.
