@1qni - I'm a lead too and work under a terrible store manager. Nobody can stand her toxic attitude. Furthermore she is the epitome of lazy. The zone supervisors and myself run this store without her help. However, she is johnny on the spot to complain or pick someone/something apart.
She takes time off whenever she wants to without regard to anyone else, but god forbid if anyone asks for time off. That's asking for too much. I think the reason why she doesn't want to give us any time off is because she's afraid of being doing real work, you know, actually getting up out of her chair, leaving her office and working like the rest of us do.
I want my old store manager back. She is the complete opposite of who we have now. She pitched in and helped around the store, after the millions of conference calls, paperwork, emails, etc she had to do, just like other SGMs have to do. Never fought or ignored time off requests, if something didn't work out (like a last minute F&F or whatever) she made arrangements for something else. Oh, and she was also a real leader, not an antisocial, negative and abrasive slave driver. Now everyone's running for the hills.
