Thread regarding Sabre Holdings layoffs

Amadeus Global Outage

I bet Southwest regrets moving. Hopefully some non-customers consider Sabre.

Just give sabre a week or two. There is a reason our CEO has a bet i.e. $100 for every employee if outages free for a month. He knows a that we have old and complex like TN and poorly done and run stuff like THS.

It's the first time in I don't know how long that Amadeus fails. Can't say the same for sabre.

NBD it happens to the best of them. I still say JetBlue goes to Amadeus since Southwest seems to be doing well on it and happy.

Crap!

Such issues happen to all major IT companies... to be compared with the outage that hit BA few months ago. Here, the recovery was performed in few minutes. For systems of that complexity and scale, that's rather a good performance. When such issues hit Sabre in the past, it lasted several hours!

Just look to Amadeus share price, it was barely impacted.
