Confirmed from the people on the receiving end in Angiolet's bloated and money wasting org. Right now they are targeting experienced, more expensive people who don't kiss Angiolet's butt. Kiss ups have a bit more time to find work elsewhere.

Only Layoffs are managers and on the wireless side anybody.
I've never seen proof of any layoffs. It's all rumor.
I don't know why some people find it so hard to believe that Verizon lays people off. I worked there for 25 years and I witnessed many layoffs - some large, some smaller. I got laid off in 2015 and many of my former co-workers got laid off after I left. If they lay off in smaller groups it helps the company stay under the media radar....IMO.
What positions?
Sounds like a rumor to me. How many, what locations?
