I heard sales is going to be hit hard because they have a huge team that simply builds a TON (like $45 million in a week) of bogus pipeline and rejoices if they close 15% of it. There is a ton of redundancy ie ...one customer will have someone who handles support renewals, one sales person on the inside, one sales person in the field, one who specializes in Netscaler, one who specializes in Sharefile, etc. Citrix sales is the biggest money pit Citrix has. In the end, the partners are the ones closing what little bit of pipeline gets closed with the exception of a few great Citrix sales reps. Meanwhile, partners have virtually no channel support. - Here's a partner hoping Citrix realizes and lives up to their #Citrix partner love bs
