Layoffs will continue into Q1 2018. Some groups will see more than others. Probably the biggest chunk from conventional being Calgary staff who aren’t moving to one of the acquiring companies.
Anybody knows if this is just rumor or is there something concrete behind it? I'm in Calgary and haven't heard anything like this.
I think all bets are off with a new CEO. That said though it seems plausible since the company isn’t likely to waffle on their G&A target shared with investors.
In the next few months, make sure you share all your methods, knowledge and important information with all people around you, cause if you are let go, the show must go on.
