Through a reliable source I have heard the Mondelez will be exiting DSD format in February of 2018. GAME OVER FOR US FOLKS!!!

Wal Mart is confirmed to be going CAO in April, told at rally. Kroger will follow. Not sure where the confusion is???? Management is concerned there will be a mass exodus so they are lying through their teeth! Sad!
It's almost February and our game isn't over yet!!
DSD isn't going anywhere!
Anyone have real facts or are you just guessing???
We're not Keebler!!!
Mondelez makes to much money to give up DSD
Employers must give workers 60 days notice before closing a plant or issuing mass layoffs, according to the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act
Uh, not exactly! Our customers know, they are in control, not Mondelez!
If you want proof to believe, hang tight! BTW, management knows! Not just top brass!
Only the top brass know for sure right now. It will be kept a secret to everyone, including your manager until they can announce it at one time to everyone. With Kellogg’s, it happened on a Townhall conference call that everyone had to attend and it was announced at that point. It was a total surprise to everyone, including managers. In fact, right before it was announced, everyone had received raises.
Game not over!
Just had my yearly review and was told that Nabisco is committed to DSD!
Got any facts to back up your Game Over claim?????
Sounds about right.
60 day notice required by law when eliminating positions
Heard announcement comes in February for April exit.
I don't think anyone knows when management will inform sales and merchandising staff!
Post says February so that's why I asked.
Any proof or just guessing?
They will tell us when it is best for them!
Is February when they are supposed to tell us about exiting DSD?
Your bosses comment " we are committed to DSD" is what management has been told to say. "We" being Mondelez. Ask yourself if this is a "Mondelez" decision wholly??? Nope! This is a decision made by the stores in order to maximize profitably. Mondelez has known for years this day was coming and had prepared for it, thus closing so many depots and consolidating to much larger ones which cover much more territory, not a DSD friendly decision but a wonderful warehouse model. If you want to believe your boss that's great, they rest of us know better!!
As for hiring, they are stockpiling merchandisers for a mass exodus once the decision is announced. PT folks won't be a part of a package so no need for them to stay.
Many of my stores already have new shelf tags that reflect warehouse. My independents have been kind enough to tell me directly what's about to occur!
My boss said that we're committed to DSD.
No layoffs he said that we're actually hiring!
People just don't want to believe DSD is coming to an end! Frito Lay has a few years left, it's not just us! Proof is all around, mondelez just hoped we would have been purchased first! Senior management has been positioning mondelez for the exit of DSD for a long time, a change of this magnitude would not occur overnight and nobody would buy us if we were not ready to exit DSD quickly. How many branches closed? Hummmm?? Our current branch configuration is perfect for warehouse, not so much for DSD! Think about it!
Are we really exiting DSD?
Any proof?
I bet we hear soon, they probably didn't want to hurt momentum for year end numbers, thus the added incentive. HR will hold conference calls, just like the previous downsizing we have seen in past few years.
Any idea when Mondelez is going to tell us pee on's when we're losing our jobs?
Pretty sad when store's tell you before your own company does!!!
Good for you! Look at mondelez growth in North America! Maybe not representative of your territory or area, but the whole picture is grim. And BTW, this may not be a decision we control at all, the names on the outside of the stores don't read Mondelez!! Kroger wants the business back, fact! Think they built a 60 million dollar distribution center to house Keebler?? Haha!! Wake up!
I've heard from Kroger and Walmart management that they're taking over ordering in March 2018.
Does anyone have legitimate proof of Mondelez exiting DSD format in 2018, if at all? I’ve done nothing but gained space in resets, increased sales and seen market/display share blow up when it comes to the cookie/cracker category for Mondelez. Where’s the proof? Nd btw, I have several deliveries going out Jan. 2nd
No deliveries Tues Jan 2nd.
I'm hearing that we will be getting our layoff notice via phone conference.
They letting go reps and merchandisers?
Alot of folks are going to lose their jobs. Very sad.
When will our game be over?
I heard February in Wal Mart.
Kroger by April.
When is Nabisco going to let us in on their secret????
Game Over!!

Happy Holidays to us!
When are they going to tell us the 1st of 2018!!
Was told directly by a Kroger store manager today we will be exiting dsd. Said we still has not heard from the company, she said you've been around long enough to see the signs!!! Nice that some people care!
I've been hearing that also at my Wal-Mart and Kroger stores
