Love it the employees are in fear for their jobs due to the poor performance and the CEO who used Dell's own money ( the company not the man) to leverage the buyout is spending like a drunk sailor. Michael Dell cares nothing about his employees, this was a pure money move. Building a solutions company hogwash, most Dell AE's can't even start to sell storage, security or networking too complex or them, so the SE/Data Center Specialist and overlays do all the heavy lifting and have the relationships with the accounts. Dell put this together with Tucci as a lucrative honeypot for both of them Tucci got to walk out with millions for a company that was well past its prime and stuck like Dell in a commodities market. Dell buys a networking company and then virtually ignores it but can say he has that piece of the pie..... amazing after working at EMC, Oracle and Cisco I am just amazed at the blatant ineptness at Dell.

Looking at the zzzS does not tell you how many were hired. Lots of people, good and bad, got the axe in the past few months, but the total headcount is more-or-less confidential.

Yes, but those ZZZ's would include people who leave voluntarily or get another job, not necessarily get laid off.
