Broadcom is ruthless is cutting all unneeded programs, they only keep the profit making teams. All overhead and unprofitable programs will be cut. Maybe finally we get rid of our useless SVP's. KK should be first on the list.
Whatever happens I’m ready to go and I’m ready to stay. Zen baby zen!
No H1B, no intern, no entry levels, no bs R&D .. only product oriented, top notch execution and cut throat cost cutting .. the new normal .
Yeah finally justice for the hard working engineers!! So long Milking VP's, directors and additional Mafia!! Prepare to take off as soon the deal is done. Will provide my inputs to my friends at Broadcom so they can target all the people doing sh@t at QCT.
This is exactly what Moto and Nokia went through. This is just beginning of the disaster.
Hock hires experienced engineer only. No new graduate or need h1b sponsor.
Hock is a robinhood for engineers ! Cut the executive fat and boost engineers RSU/bonus 4x. Does not belive in CE .. if you are a money making BU and hands-on this might be a windfall...
$70 a share? I'll sell with a smile.
EVPs, VPs, directors, people managers, PMs, HR, IT, legal, accounting, CE, Biz Dev, sales, GTFO will be all gone. Engineers will get much more bonus and cash ( positive part). Negative part is no R&Ds, and no any more many meetings.
How can anyone be actually happy about this? This makes layoffs even more likely than the NXP deal.
Some of you people are so shortsighted, you'd even be cheering if Mediatek bought us.
Ha ha, VPs, directors, people managers, PMs, HR, IT, legal, accounting, CE, Biz Dev, sales, GTFO. Hockism, will price the chip right so it sells by itself. Engineers rejoice, fat pay, and fat RSU, fat bonus.
Not going to happen... Back to 50s soon.. I bet AVGO will buy NXPI only and not touch Qualcomm. IMO
Get ready for Hock Tan QCOM, he's your new daddy! He'll cut and slash fluff, sell all under-performing BUs, flatten the command structure and lay off a good chunk of the remaining workforce. Cost control is your new mantra.
Financial and tight management oversight of Broadcom will help put the current exec bozos in line (or more likely get rid of them and replace them with real managers and leaders). Finally, someone can come in and clean up this mess!!
Hahaha.... I was close... I guessed amazon or google would try to acquire not too long ago...
I love it when I am almost right. Qualcomm has a lot of potential just need some enthusiasm and new vision!
