The Bible says we will reap what we sow. CBI is now facing difficult times because they do not have the respect for the people that actually devoted their time and energy to make the company prosper. Many of the good talented experienced people have been laid off and many that are left are young, inexperienced employees with good intentions but now without the benefit of having an experienced mentor to go to to guide them and advise them and give them the benefit of their years of experience. Morale is down in the offices due to employees not being given the true picture of what direction the company is headed, they don't know if they may be the next to be unceremoniously walked out the door, heavier workloads now due to cutbacks, everyone on edge, stressed, close to burnout, backstabbing, rumors, lack of direction from management, policies and procedures that tie employees hands in doing their work, CMS, Smart Plant, Material Link, etc, etc, etc. The truth is that a good employee is the most important asset for a company. When we lose site of that fact, then no matter what else the company does, the company will not be the cutting edge successful company that it could be.
